Confusion
The reading this morning is John 20 about Jesus’ resurrection. I noticed Mary’s confusion at the tomb being empty and then a surprise visit from Jesus before he assended. Later Jesus appeared to the disciples and then Thomas. They believed because they saw with their own eyes. They were confused at first but then Jesus clarified it for them.
So hard to find a date that works for a memorial. There was confusion but then it is seemingly to work out. Often times, we fret and worry about things and if we just give it to God, it will work out. “Cast all your cares upon Jesus.” It is something that we just have to continue to practice. Things will work like they are suppose to.
