An Invitation…

On Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the sun is shining.  I am thinking about the plans for the holidays and listening to J Cripps Thanksgiving Talk on his show. Even though it seems like a great day I am being a bit challenged to listen to his show.  It keeps turning off and I can’t get it to start where I life of.  Hmmm.  Frustrating.  Moving on to my reading A More Excellent Way.

Act 10:38 says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” That is the gospel.  Henry Wright says……  If someone is not healed, there is a spiritual root and there is a block that has to be dealt with. There is a root problem that gives the devil a right to your life. Go before God and just lay it out.  Henry has documented from Scripture over 30 blocks that will prevent God from healing you.

Henry states that The Word of God tells us there is nothing evil in itself (including food), but all things with Thanksgiving are sanctified with prayer and the Word of God.  1 Timothy 4:1-5 & Romans 14:14. Another thought that goes against what I have learned lately.

These that I have shared today and the past few days are just nuggets of what Wright shares in this book.  I sure would like someone to process this book and get together to discuss. It is so full of great things….all from the Word of God.   Let me know if anyone is interested.
