I Know The ONE

 ” But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.  (2 Timothy 1:12)   Paul has entrusted the gospel to Timothy. Timothy has entrusted the gospel to you and me.  “I appointed you that you should go out and reproduce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.” (John 15:16) Did you see that?  “So that whatever you ask the Father in MY name, He will give you.”.  The power in prayer is that we guard the gift He  has given us and product much fruit.  Without that we have no prayer power.

So sad that many say they believe but they do not get to know the ONE. When we know the ONE, we are excited and grateful.  When we are excited and grateful for something we share…..which causes reproduction of fruit which equals prayer power.  To reinforce that in John 15:5 “Whoever abides in me and I in him, apart from me you can do nothing.”   It says to abide. What does that mean?  Get into the Word so the Word is in you……. In verse 8 it tells bearing much fruit gives God glory.  NAS states that it proves you are a disciple.  I don’t know about you but I want to give God glory….
