You can know if you are saved.

Today our verse is 2 Timothy 2:19, “Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having the inscription: “The Lord know those who are His, and Everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn away from unrighteousness.”

Luke 23:34 says “Father forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing.”   He called us to “Take up cross daily and follow Me.”   We will never be a great to the darkness or a menace to the devil if we can’t settle in our minds whether or not we are in Christ.

1 John 5:13 ” I write these things so you who believe in God’s name and the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life.   You can know. If you are in Christ, you are saved.

Ask yourself….Have you received Jesus as your personal Savior? Have you turned from your own way and forsaken all other means of salvation to accept the free gift of grace Good offered to you through the cross off Christ?  What throws a question mark on whether or not and individual is truly in Christ is his or her ability to stay indefinitely in a stronghold of sin, free of conviction and unmoved to repentance.   The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and , if He swells in us, He has does His job.

I guess if you don’t feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit when you sin then maybe you need to ask yourself the above questions.
