Consider Him

I am reading John 18 where Jesus was arrested and accused. He knew what was coming and I can imagine that even though he knew, there must have been a dreaded feeling. I too have a feeling of dread. I have a very hard task in front of me on Sunday. Today’s reading in The Quiet Place talks about “Consider Him”. Hebrews 12:1-2 says “And let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfector of our faith.” DeMoss says Jesus can sustain us when we grow weary of running and are tempted to throw in the towel. He is able to sustain me and keep me in the race. I need to continue to trust him; to look to HIm. I will find in Him the strength, courage, and grace I need to do the hard– all the way. He is so good to me.
