Give Liberally

Today Nancy DeMoss shares another nugget from her father.  Give Liberally. She says, God honors generosisty.  “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the fistfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats I’ll be busting with wine.” God does promise that all your needs will be met and you will be abundantly blessed-in ways you cannot even begin to fathom.  At the end she says to ‘test it’.

I have been a tiether for years.  Sometimes on top of the tieth, God calls me to give an offering.  Sometimes it is for a period of time and then sometimes it is a one time gift.  There has been times that it was hard for me to give too.  Sometimes I wonder how I am going to have enough to go around.  But like I always do, I record my income for the week, and figure out my tieth. Then I go ahead and pay the bills.  And I always have enough.   It amazes me.  I have found that when I am faithful to obey God, he blesses me.   So I say to you too, “Test it”
