So That…..

 Today mark’s 4 months since Linda went to be with her Jesus.  In the last day of the study entrust the scripture that stood out is 2 Timothy 4:17a “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me.” My rock verse that Linda did for me years ago that sits outside my front door says, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12. This morning I sit feeling life is bitter sweet.

Beth highlights 2 Timothy 4:20 where Paul says “I lift Trophimus sick at Miletus.” Every missing miracle creates a cavern we can leave wide open to bitterness or decide to fill with faith. Trust holds a torch in the Black hole.  This is the miracle. The great wonder is that the darkness did not overcome us.  We don’t have to be deserted to feel all alone. All it takes is being in a place no one else can fully enter.  They would if they could but they lack what it takes.  Then, when you think the isolation will overtake you, there He is. The Spirit of Christ within you bears such witness to the presence of Christ beside you that you know you’re not I it alone. He is there.

We must hold tightly to the Word of God, rightly dividing it and accurately teaching it. We stand on the authority of the Word of God or we won’t stand at all.  We walk by faith, not by sight, and by KNOWING, not feeling.

The message concludes with just as Paul  loved Timothy,  Linda loves us, all the many she was in heart connection with.  This  study is concluding with, ___(your name)_____ guard the deposit entrusted to you.  Fulfill your ministry. Hold to that pattern that Linda gave of God’s sound teaching…in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Guard, through the Holy Spirit who lived in Linda and lives in us, that God thing entrusted to you.  Amen….
