Unloving Spirits and Addiction
As I continue to read A MORE EXCELLENT WAY, in the section Insight into Healing a prevention of Disease, I am at Unloving Spirits and Addiction
. Unloving Spirits go against God’s Word in Matthew 22:37-39. Satan is telling us lies which prevent us from loving God, loving yourself and loving others.

This world is crazy as sin happens and God is still calling us to love God and love others. So hard in the midst of the World’s sin. I constantly have to use God’s filter for me, How does God want me to respond? What do I need to feel or act here? So hard to keep that love at the top of the focus.
Addiction is talked about in Galations 5:19, “Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, soccery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these.”. Remember you can be addicted to almost anything: drugs, alcohol, sex, food, shopping or anything that distracts us from the feeling of being unloved.
We have been created to know and receive God’s perfect love and because of that we are always in search of that fulfillment that can only come from God. Satan seduces us into believing the world offers us a better substitute. Our comfort needs to be in Good, not people, places or things. Such a Word of encouragement today.
